M.S. in Accounting
Graduate school is a valuable investment in your future, and there are a variety of ways to support your education. Students typically fund their studies through a combination of departmental scholarships, student loans, and graduate employment opportunities.
The following outline of the tuition and fees for the 2025-2026 academic year is offered as a general guide for planning purposes only, and is based on University-approved allowances for living expenses incurred during the academic year.
The University of Virginia’s budget for tuition and living expenses for the 2026-2027 academic is set by the Board of Visitors in December 2025.

This budget does not include allowances for car payments, undergraduate debt, or consumer and other types of personal debt. The typical living costs budget is expected to increase by approximately 3% for 2026-2027.
**Estimated 2025-2026 cost if insurance was purchased through UVA. Students may be covered under a parent’s policy or a personal policy. If this coverage meets minimum requirements, then the UVA policy may be waived in July. The 2026-2027 insurance rates will be available in late summer.
