Pre-Experience Diversity Hosting Events

Each year, the McIntire Graduate Marketing & Admissions team invites prospective graduate students to visit the historic University of Virginia Grounds in Charlottesville for an opportunity to learn more about the School's pre-experience degree programs and student experience.

Participants attend interactive sessions to learn more about the degree programs, co-curricular programs, global opportunities, as well as career development support and outcomes. McIntire students, faculty, staff, and alumni are also present throughout the event to connect.

During each hosting event, participants will have an opportunity to:

  • Learn about the M.S. in Accounting, M.S. in Commerce, and M.S. in Global Commerce Programs
  • Engage in a live mock class and leadership activity
  • Explore McIntire’s resources in career development, co-curricular, and global programs
  • Gain an understanding of how to prepare for the admissions process
  • Network with McIntire students, alumni, faculty, and staff
