McIntire Investment Institute (MII) Research Seminar Series

In conjunction with the Mayo Center for Asset Management at UVA's Darden School, the Center for Investors and Financial Markets brings top scholars from around the world to Grounds to share their research in finance and economics through this seminar series. By alternating the visitors and their seminars between the Commerce School and Darden, the program enhances collaboration and networking between UVA finance faculty across Grounds.

Housing & Urban Finance Lab (HUFL)

The Household and Urban Finance Lab (HUFL) at UVA conducts research at the intersection of financial markets, public policy, and urban space, delivering insights that improve policymaking and enhance households’ economic well-being. Reflecting the complex context in which households make their decisions, HUFL brings together scholars with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise to explore how these decisions are made and the many effects they have.

Blue Ridge Finance Workshop

The Blue Ridge Finance Workshop brings together scholars from McIntire, Darden and Virginia Tech to discuss their research agendas, exchange ideas, and collaborate on topics related to investors, financial markets, and financial policy. The workshop serves as a platform to showcase leading academic research and foster academic partnerships in the field of finance and investment.
