Hi! I'm XinYuan Hu, a fourth-year student originally from Guangdong, China, but I also call Memphis my second home in the U.S. I'm concentrating in Finance, with a track in Global Commerce, and I also double in Statistics.

Outside of the classroom, I am a member (former President) of the Chinese Students & Scholars Society (CSSS, cultural org), where I spend most of my time helping to build connections and to find ways to strengthen our community. I'm also involved in the Frank Batten Investment Fund (FBIF, ESG finance club) and UVA Badminton Club. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, cycling, playing tennis, and trying different cuisines.

What I love most about McIntire is the strong COMMunity spirit, both inside and outside the classroom. (Our block won the kickball championship!) The morale and unity I experienced during the McIntire block tournament reinforced my belief in the power of teamwork. In ICE, I'm continually amazed by the hidden talents and diverse skills of my classmates, and it's these unique contributions that enhance our learning experience as teams here at McIntire. Being part of such an enthusiastic and supportive group makes every day more inspiring and constantly pushes me to learn and grow in ways I never expected!

Fun fact: In the past semester, I visited Hong Kong, Singapore, and Costa Rica with my peers through McIntire and had our best time overseas.
