Hometown: Fairfax, VA Concentration: Finance and Marketing
Hi! My name is Isha Jain, and I am in my third year at the McIntire School of Commerce, intending to concentrate in Finance and Marketing. I am from Fairfax, VA, and always loved visiting my brother at UVA as a child!
During my time at UVA, I’ve been involved in a variety of organizations across Grounds. I’m the President of the Advertising and Marketing Association, a Project Leader for 180 Degrees Consulting, a member of the Bollywood Fusion dance team Sharaara, and involved in CASH at Madison House.
Outside of academics, I love traveling and want to explore more of Asia after I graduate! I also love playing tennis and learning new dance choreographies.
So far, I’ve really enjoyed the group work aspect of ICE at McIntire. It’s been amazing getting to know the people from my block and collaborating on different projects and activities. Working in teams, communicating effectively, and valuing diverse perspectives are all crucial skills that McIntire prepares you for.
Fun fact: My name was legally changed when I was six!
