About me:

Hi! I’m Ashley Morani, a fourth-year at McIntire, concentrating in Finance and Marketing with tracks in Strategic Brand Consulting & Communications and Business Analytics and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I’m originally from Staunton, VA (a close neighbor of
Charlottesville), where I dreamed of attending the University of Virginia as a child.

Throughout my time at UVA, I’ve been involved in several meaningful organizations, including SEEK His Face, which hosts an inter-fellowship worship night each semester, and Chi Alpha, a Christian fellowship that’s allowed me to connect with both the UVA and Charlottesville communities. My involvement includes tutoring at Buford Middle School twice a week, leading group workouts with the Fitness Commission, and volunteering for the morning hub crew, a hospitality team for our fellowship’s house.

Beyond academics, I’ve also established an eBay retail arbitrage business, Ashley’s Closet, which I started in 2018. The success of this venture has enabled me to contribute monthly to a local Charlottesville nonprofit, H.E.R Sports, where I now sit on the board and help guide the organization’s direction.

My experience at McIntire has been transformative. The Integrated Core Experience challenged and expanded my way of thinking, offering daily opportunities to dive into interesting topics and real-world examples alongside a diverse and motivated group of students. The support from faculty and staff further equipped me to secure an internship with Dick’s Sporting Goods this past summer, where I worked in allocation and replenishment as part of their merchandise team.

Being part of the McIntire community has been a joy, and I look forward to sharing this with all of you!

Fun fact: I can juggle!
