Hi! My name is Anya Bhargava, and I am a fourth-year student at McIntire concentrating in IT and Marketing, with a track in Business Analytics. I'm from Richmond, VA, so I always hoped to come to UVA! Over the past three years I’ve gotten involved with some incredible organizations around Grounds, including CASH through Madison House, where I’ve gotten to connect with and help members of the Charlottesville community with their taxes; UDC, through which I’ve continued my love of dance; and SWS, which helped increase my interest in the business world.
In my free time, I love to travel and have been beyond lucky to have visited over 30 countries, many of which I have written about on my blog: anyabhargava.com. I also love reading and hanging out with friends and family!
My McIntire experience has been absolutely incredible so far. My favorite part has been getting to know the other students on a deeper level. From my ICE group to the other ambassadors to my professors, the people I’m so lucky to be surrounded by amaze me every day. Most of all, though, I’ve loved getting to share why this community is so special over the past year and look forward to continuing to do just that!
Fun fact: I convinced my parents to go paragliding with me in Switzerland when I was nine!
