Hometown: Richmond, VA Concentration: Finance and Accounting Minor: Public Policy and Leadership through Batten
Hi! My name is AnnTurner Barricklow, and I am a fourth-year student from Richmond, VA. At McIntire, I am concentrating in Finance and Accounting on the Real Estate Track.
Outside of the classroom, I am involved in several organizations on Grounds. I am a member of the University Dance Club and previously served as the Finance Chair for two years. I am also a part of the Student Advisory Board for Enactus, a pro bono consulting club that works directly with nonprofits and socially minded businesses in Charlottesville. I have previously worked on the Charlottesville Ballet team, where I worked directly with the Charlottesville Ballet on their market research and marketing efforts. Additionally, I serve as the Vice President of Membership Experience for the Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, take my two dogs on walks, and go shopping.
My McIntire experience has been absolutely incredible so far. I have really enjoyed the collaborative nature of the ICE block and being able to learn from my peers and their diverse perspectives. I have also loved the opportunity to form strong connections with my classmates, professors, and advisers.
Fun fact: Before this summer, I had never been outside of the country, but I was able to visit five different countries during my summer study-abroad program: England, Scotland, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Canada!
