Hi! My name is Anna Lynne Ramsey, and I am a fourth-year at McIntire concentrating in Finance and IT, with a track in Business Analytics and a minor in Public Policy & Leadership. I am from Peachtree City, GA (just south of Atlanta). Although I never imagined myself ending up in a place like Charlottesville for school, it has now become my favorite place in the world!

In my time at UVA, I have become involved in several organizations on Grounds. I am the Senior Counselor for the University Judiciary Committee, where I lead the Counselor pool on the Executive Committee and serve as an advocate for parties going through the trial system. Over the years, I have also engaged in several groups, such as the Virginia Ambassadors, Hoo Crew, Smart Woman Securities, and Alpha Delta Pi sorority. All of these groups have contributed to my incredible experience at the University.

I enjoy spending my free time cheering on the different athletic teams at UVA (go Hoos!), exploring around Charlottesville, and spending time with my friends. My experience studying abroad in Oxford fostered my love of travel and history, and I'm excited to continue checking places off of my bucket list. Another one of my passions is advocating for juvenile diabetes research, as I'm a type 1 diabetic myself.

My time in McIntire has been absolutely wonderful so far. Most certainly, my favorite part has been getting to engage with my peers, who all come from different backgrounds and perspectives, to solve real-world problems. The ICE experience is designed to prepare students for the real world, and it is easy to feel this throughout all aspects of our curriculum. My fellow students are some of the most impressive and inspirational people, and I am so grateful to get to learn from and with them every day. Our community is truly special, and I am thankful to be a part of it!

Fun fact: I worked at the Hawaiian-themed Chick-fil-A in high school when it went viral on TikTok!
