The McIntire School of Commerce occupies four buildings — Rouss, Robertson, Cobb, and Shumway Halls — that together form the Breeden Commerce Grounds, a complex on the southeast corner of UVA's historic Lawn. The School stands on the University's historic Grounds, part of the Monticello and University of Virginia UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Thomas Jefferson's enduring architectural legacies.
Parking
Visitors can park in the Central Grounds Parking Garage, under the University Bookstore at 400 Emmet Street, about a 10-minute walk to McIntire. Overflow parking is at the Culbreth Road Parking Garage, about a 15-minute walk to the Rouss Hall Lawn entrance.

Rideshare Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Visitors can choose from three access points:
- McCormick Road at Garrett Alley, a three-minute walk to the Rouss Hall Lawn entrance
- Hospital Drive, which ends in a cul-de-sac that connects to the east entrance of Robertson Hall (second floor stairwell entrance)
- 111 Breeden Way, for drop-off and pick-up at Shumway Hall
Accessibility
Elevators in all four Commerce buildings—Rouss & Robertson Halls, Cobb Hall, and Shumway Hall—provide access to all floors, though routes between levels and buildings may not always be intuitive, so please ask for help. Exterior ramp access is available at the Lawn entrance to Rouss Hall, the rear entrance to Robertson Hall, and entrances to both Cobb and Shumway Halls.

Walking Directions from the Central Grounds Parking Garage

Exit the garage at the top level, by the UVA Bookstore.

Walk across the open patio toward the stairs on the right.

Ascend the stairs and stay right, walking between Monroe Hall (left) and the fountain (right).

Cross McCormick Avenue at the crosswalk and walk down the stairs toward the Amphitheater.

Keeping the Amphitheater on your right, stay straight on the sidewalk and cross the Lawn.

McIntire is on the far side of the Lawn. Enter Rouss Hall from the Lawn level (fourth floor). Shumway and Cobb Halls are reached by the exterior stairs on either side of Rouss & Robertson Halls or via the RRH elevators to the first floor of Robertson Hall and out the east entrance.

Arlington, VA (Rosslyn)
McIntire's M.S. in Business Analytics and M.S. in the Management of IT classes are held at UVA Darden DC Metro, in the Rosslyn district of Arlington—on the top two floors of a 31-story building above the Potomac, with sweeping views of the nation's capital.
