Through expansive coursework and engaging extracurricular activities, you'll connect with faculty, alumni, employers, and business leaders from all over the world. McIntire's specialized programs include:

  • Global Commerce Scholars: This unique project provides a select group of fourth-year McIntire students with the opportunity to research and write a thesis under the guidance of one or more faculty advisers. Learn more.
  • Global Commerce Track: Spanning multiple subject areas, this course of study available to B.S. in Commerce students provides a broad and interdisciplinary understanding of the global business environment, an in-depth regional perspective, and an appreciation of the issues commercial enterprises face when operating within these interrelated environments.   • Global Elective Courses: Reflecting the rapidly changing context of global business, these site-specific electives aim to teach business in a manner that examines at length real-world issues for particular regions around the world.

Center for Global Commerce

The Center for Global Commerce provides thought leadership, drives innovative curriculum, facilitates student experiences, engages with global alumni, and fosters relationships focused on addressing the world's major challenges. By creating research opportunities relevant to academics and practitioners while leveraging expanded partnerships to enhance student learning, the Center leads the McIntire School's initiatives to employ global commerce as a catalyst for positive change.
