Professor Netemeyer is the Ralph A. Beeton Professor of Free Enterprise at the McIntire School of Commerce. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from the University of South Carolina in 1986. Professor Netemeyer’s current substantive research interests include public policy and social issues, health/maladaptive behaviors, consumer financial well-being, and child safety on the internet. His methodological interests include structural equation modeling, measurement and psychometrics, and survey research. His research has appeared in American Journal of Public Health; American Journal of Psychiatry; Journal of Applied Psychology; Journal of Consumer Research; Journal of Marketing; Journal of Marketing Research; Journal of Public Policy & Marketing; Marketing Science; OBHDP; and others. He is a co-author of two books pertaining to measurement and psychometrics and is a member of the editorial review board of Journal of Public Policy & Marketing.
