We host events that expose you to industries, allow you to develop skills for success, and provide networking opportunities with alumni and employers of interest.
- Industry treks: We take students on trips to visit companies across an array of industries to allow you to explore, learn, and network. Trips have included finance-, marketing-, and analytics-based treks to New York and a technology-based trek to San Francisco.
- Skill-building workshops: We host on-Grounds workshops that are both skills based and industry based. Our workshops feature our corporate sponsors, McIntire alumni, and current employees to give you real-world, relevant advice on how to develop the skills that are in demand.
- Industry exploration & networking: Career Services partners with our faculty, alumni, employer partners, and Centers to host industry-related programs and workshops, including a Careers in Business series. Our Careers in Finance conference features our corporate sponsors in an interactive lecture-based format so that students can ask questions and find out in-depth information about companies and industries.
