Hi everyone! My name is Sara, and I’m a third-year student at McIntire, pursuing the Finance concentration. I’m originally from Alexandria, VA, which is objectively the best part of NoVA. 

At UVA, I’m involved in Smart Woman Securities, Madison House’s Girls Excited About Math and Science program, and Chi Alpha! When I’m not in McIntire, I’m probably on the Corner, convincing my friends that we need to get another coffee. 

McIntire is the best school on Grounds (and no, I’m not biased at all). My favorite part of McIntire is the COMMunity. I’ve met so many great, like-minded people who are not only driven, but also just fun to be around. The Integrated Core curriculum can definitely be a lot, but having those people by your side makes the third-year way more enjoyable, and the late nights are actually kind of fun.

Fun fact: I’m a middle child (it’s truly a defining aspect of my personality), I play the guitar, and I’ve played four different sports in my life; I am currently retired from all of them.
