Hi everyone! My name is Kaitlyn, and I’m a third-year student concentrating in Finance and Management, with a double major in Economics. I grew up in New York City and Hong Kong, which sparked my interest in global business and finance. 

Outside of classes, I’ve joined a variety of organizations that have made my time at UVA even more fulfilling. I’m currently Treasurer for the Women in Economics Club and MD of Projects for the Jefferson Consulting Collective. I have also previously served as a tutor for America Reads, Funding Chair for the College Council, and a Senior Analyst on the Global Macro Team at Smart Woman Securities. 

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, playing pickleball, reviewing restaurants on Beli, and having movie marathons with my friends. So far, Croatia and Thailand top my list of favorite destinations!

What I enjoy most about my McIntire experience so far is the tight-knit community. It’s an environment where you constantly meet classmates with different backgrounds and perspectives, and everyone pushes each other to think bigger and work harder. All my professors are also very approachable and genuinely invested in the academic and professional success of students. I’m very excited about the rest of my time here!
