Calls For Distinguished Alumni Award Nominations

The White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate Robert G. Byron Distinguished Alumni Award is presented annually at the Center’s Conference in Charlottesville, to be hosted this year on Nov. 8, 2024, at the Darden School of Business.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is named in honor of Robert G Byron, Chairman, Co-CEO, and Co-Founder of Blue Vista Capital Management. The Center celebrated Mr. Byron as the first recipient of its Distinguished Alumni Award at the Conference at UVA on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, recognizing his substantial contributions to real estate at UVA.

The Center’s Distinguished Alumni Award will be presented to an alumnus of any UVA school or college in recognition of their achievements of exceptional merit, excellence, and leadership in their field, and whose accomplishments significantly contribute to the mission of the Center: to enhance the quality of the built environment and our understanding of its influence on all aspects of our lives through discovery and debate relating to the art and science of real estate.

Nominations are due by Friday, Sept. 13, 2024.
